Burnt Orange Bridesmaid Dresses

Burnt Orange Wedding Color

Burnt orange as a wedding color theme is a bold choice - brides like to pick this burnt orange wedding color theme for Fall weddings. But this is a choice that is striking and perfect for almost any season - you just have to know how to complement burnt orange with accent colors. One great way to bring the burnt orange color into your wedding is to have burnt orange bridesmaid dresses.

Some accent colors that would be complementary to burnt orange are yellow, orange-red, burgundy, olive green and sage green.

Choosing the Right Makeup and Hairdo Based on Your Wedding Theme and Venue

An important aspect of wedding planning is the choice of a wedding theme. The wedding theme will aid you in selecting the perfect complementary gown or outfit for your wedding day. The choice of your makeup and hairdo is also dependent on the wedding theme. You will want something that will ideally blend with your wedding’s overall theme. So what excatly does it mean by wedding theme? Well, wedding theme is simply the overall scheme that includes the venue, the makeup and color choices, and the bride's personal style. Of course, whatever you pick should all be go well with the look of her husband-to-be!

Getting your makeup to be complementary to your overall wedding theme is not as simple as you may think. It is affected by factors, such as the theme and venue of the wedding.

Below are some important things to consider when choosing your makeup and wedding venue:

If You are Throwing a Garden Wedding Party...

You should always use natural colors for your base makeup. The focus colors should be fresh and uplifting, such as natural peach for the lips with a glossy effect, and pale lime-green for the eye shadow.

You can have flowers in your hair, or a flower crown. You can also set your hair naturally with natural hair blow and use a small band around the hair.

If You Are Throwing a Poolside Wedding Party

You should use foundation and powder that matches your natural skin colour and use bright colours like hot pink matte for the lips. Apply a pale crème for the eye shadow and finish the look with a shimmering loose powder around the face and neck.

Get a simple hairdo, such as ponytails with some small details like a single white rose.

If You Are Throwing an Indoor Wedding Party

Try to play up the glamor and elegance effect. You can try experimenting with gold and solid colours. To keep up with current trends, you may want to try bright red for the lips and gold for the eye shadow. Use shimmering gold loose powder as a finishing touch.

For the hairdo, you can create an elegant French twist without too much details, or a glamorous twist with a touch of crystal or pearl accessories.

In summary, keep in mind that the perfect look of the bride depends on the wedding theme, so decide on the wedding's theme as soon as you can, and be prepared to dazzle everyone on your big day!

Nighttime Beauty Regime For a Beautiful Bride

Wedding Beauty Tips

We all want to look young and beautiful on our wedding days, but how many of us really make the necessary effort to take care of ourselves? These nighttime beauty regimes will help you look your best on your wedding day. You should also continue these beauty tips after your wedding to ensure that you continue to look young, healthy and radiant!

Face

Cleansing your face before going to bed is essential for removing any dirt you many have picked up during the day.

Nighttime is the right time to apply any face treatment. At night your skin will not be exposed to the sunlight, air pollution or any bacteria-ridden particles that might be present in the air. Your skin also repairs itself at night by replacing dead skin cells with fresh new ones. Making sure your skin absorbs enough nutrients during the night is vital. It will revitalize your facial skin and works wonders on skin that has been exposed to all the dirt and grime of the daytime. You should also apply the treatment to your arms and neck area.

Importance of Exfoliation

Walnut scrub is ideal for oily skin. Make sure you scrub your face in circular motions and wash with cold water. For those with sensitive or dry skin, use baby oil or wet cleansing pads, followed by a night cream.

Our skin is always generating new skin cells at the dermis layer and sending them to the surface (the epidermis). As the cells rise to the surface they gradually die and become filled with keratin.

The keratinized skin cells are essential. They give our skin its protective quality. But they are constantly sloughing off to make way for younger cells.

And as we age the cell turnover process slows down. Cells start to pile up unevenly on the skin's surface, giving it a dry, rough, dull appearance. Exfoliation is beneficial because it removes those dead cells that are clinging on, revealing the fresher, younger skin cells below.

However, it is possible to overexfoliate, especially on the facial skin where it is usually more delicate. Overexfoliating will dry and irritate the skin. So be gentle when you exfoliate.

How to Choose Bridesmaids Dresses

We all the know how the joke about bridesmaids goes - they're always dressed alike in horrifying colors and dress styles that are reminiscent of a prom night fashion nightmare. After the wedding, the bridesmaid dress is stuffed into the back of the wardrobe, never to be worn again.

I suppose the idea is that the bride is supposed to be the one to shine; it's her day to be noticed. So bridesmaids are not expected to turn heads, hence the requirement that her attendants (bridesmaids) are dressed in drab clothes.

But that's just old thinking - would you want the below at your wedding? Take a look at the fashion statements below, and see what that says about the bride who allowed it at her wedding!

How to Plan Your Wedding At Work

Planning Your Wedding at Work and Getting Away With It.

Regardless of what we think would be ideal, not all bride-to-bes have the luxury of taking time off work to plan their wedding. Whether you mean to or not, some of - and for some women, all - of your wedding will get planned during your work hours. The following article provides some tips on how you can best plan your wedding while balancing your work responsibilties.

1. Plan on your breaks. Whether that means hopping over to the baker for a cake tasting on your lunch break or making follow up calls during your twenty minute afternoon break. It’s your break, do what you want! *Note: If you plan right, a trip to the caterer for a tasting can double as your lunch!

2. Limit your planning time. Try not to check your email in the morning when you get to work because you might get sidetracked sending and answering wedding-related emails, and an hour or two will be gone before you know it! If you must do the planning right then and there, limit yourself to five or ten minutes, then get back to the real world and your job.

3. Take a personal day to plan and get things finished. Of course, you do not have to do it every week! But you would be surprised how much you can accomplish in a single day if you are productive. Look at it this way: you can spend one day getting ten to-do things crossed off your list, or, one hour every morning at work for the next month trying to plan, picking up where you left off the day before.

4. Don’t talk weddings at work. Even if you aren’t planning during work hours, people will think you are. Not to mention, you’ll drive the majority of the men nuts, anger a few women, and make the rest of the ladies jealous. So unless you work in the wedding and event planning industry, zip it while you’re on the clock!

5. Take the last few days leading up to your wedding off from work. You’ll still have a list a mile long of things to finish, and you can’t hardly focus on anything that doesn’t have to do with your wedding. Do your boss, your coworkers, and yourself a favor and give yourself a break! If you aren’t going to be productive at work, you might as well be productive doing wedding stuff!

Best of all, use your judgment. If you think you cannot manage to be planning while you’re working, don’t try!

Stylish Wedding Tiara Designs

Tiaras | Get The Regal Look

Royal women all around the world wear tiaras, from the late Princess Diana to the royals in far flung countries such as Iran!

The word tiara is adopted from the Persian word Tara, and is taken to mean a high crown. Throughout history, the royals and the nobles used to wear tiaras as a signal to their high status.

Today however, the tiara is worn, in addition to royals and nobles, by those in high social circles. The tiara worn today is semi-circular band and decorated with jewels, such as swarovski crystals.

Some brides think that donning the tiara is an over the top look for their wedding. But your wedding is the one day you get to be the Queen, so why not consider a tiara for your wedding look? It is a timeless elegant look you can be sure will win you admiration on your wedding day.

Winter Wedding Makeup Ideas and Tips

Winter weddings are exquisite affairs - there is something magical about having a wedding amidst the natural beauty of an all-white winter. Imagine having a wonderful wedding reception indoors while there is pristine white snow on the ground outside. Something for the romantics indeed.

But winter wedding make-up should be different from the make-up you would ordinarily use at a wedding at other times. The natural look for bridal make-up is one that works best for winter weddings.

If you are very pale, then do use a bronzer to be brushed over the face after foundation is applied. If your skin tone is warm consider gold, bronze, toffee and cocoa shades for your eyes.

Other bridal make-up ideas would be to go for cool colors: for eyes choose silvers, gray, pewter and mushroom shades; for the lips use raspberry reds, rose-pink shades or burgundies.

Winter Weddings and Bridal Make-up
By Beth Price

Winter weddings have different needs and requirements to summer ones and it does not make sense to expect them to look the same.

Firstly, the scenery will look different in winter. Instead of the soft shades of summer the scenery will be much stronger with bold contrasts. Often in the winter the sky looks almost white and the bare trees almost black in contrast. Evergreens are present and the grass and hedges will appear darker in winter.

Obviously the weather will be much colder and consideration must be given to some sort of cover-up for the bride whether it be a velvet cloak, fur shrug or shawl or thick lace bolero. Her gown will need to be made of heavy, luxurious fabric for warmth. If you are getting married in winter you may wish to think outside traditional bridal colours and consider some colour in your wedding dress, whether it's just in the embroidery, the bodice or from top to toe. Deep reds, burgundies, purples and evergreens can look striking against a winter background. If you want to be more traditional and marry in white, consider these colours for the bridesmaids, men's ties or cravats, flowers and other decorations.

Much consideration needs to be made to your bridal make-up. In winter your skin and that of your bridesmaids is likely to be lighter. The natural lighting will usually be dimmer than summertime and you will need a slightly more striking make-up look rather than a light summery one if you are to look your most beautiful on the day and in the photographs.

Make sure your foundation is as near to your own colouring as possible. It should even out your skin tone and keep your face looking fresh and youthful but should not turn you orange! If you are very pale a natural shade of bronzer can be brushed over the entire face after the foundation has been set with loose powder.

If your skin tone is warm consider gold, bronze, toffee and cocoa shades for your eyes.

Your cheeks will need a blusher with a warm tone. Although a light peachy shade might work in the summer, go for something with a little more depth for winter, such as a deeper coral or nutmeg. For your lips try a striking terracotta, cinnamon or warm red but if you feel these are too heavy for your colouring and bridal look go for a more subtle, sheer coral or copper.

If your skin tone is cool you will need less of a golden look and more of the cool tones. For eyes choose silvers, grey, pewter and mushroom shades. Your blusher will need to be a medium to deep pink or mauve unless you are very fair and then a delicate pink will work. For the lips again the look needs to be cool so try raspberry reds, rose-pink shades or burgundies.

How To Pick The Perfect Winter Wedding Dress
By Shaunta Pleasant

While the most popular months for weddings are still the summer months, particularly June, the winter season is making a strong run at being the most favored time to get married.

There are many excellent reasons to choose a winter wedding, and it is easy to see why winter weddings are becoming so popular.

Of course a winter wedding means a winter wedding dress, and it is important to choose that wedding dress with care. After all, the winter wedding dress is the showpiece of any winter wedding, so it is important to choose it very carefully.

==Choosing a Reputable And Reliable Wedding Dress Shop==

When it comes to choosing the perfect wedding gown, nothing is more important than the reputation and reliability of the wedding dress maker.

There are many vendors who sell wedding dresses, from department stores to chain wedding dress stores to specialty retailers. There are even wedding dresses available online, so it is important to shop around.

==Places To Find Your Winter Wedding Dress==

One of the first places to start the search for the perfect winter wedding dress is the local high end department store.

Many of the finest department stores carry a good selection of wedding gowns and other special dresses, so it is a good idea to shop there first.

==Choosing A Dress Off the Shelf Or A Customized One==

In addition, there are many chain wedding dress makers on the market, and they can be excellent choices for creating the perfect winter wedding dress.

Some of these chain stores carry only off the shelf wedding gowns, while others employ seamstresses who may be able to customize the winter wedding dress you prefer just for you. If you need such custom fitting, be sure to ask about it before you have chosen and paid for your dress.

==The Internet Is A Great Place To View The Most Up To Date Styles==

There are even winter wedding dress suppliers on the internet, and the web has been gaining in popularity as a source of wedding dresses and bridesmaid gowns.

While some brides to be miss the experience of trying on dresses in brick and mortar stores, others enjoy the convenience and low prices of these virtual dress shops. So if you are looking for a bargain on your winter wedding dress, be sure to check online.

Wedding Proposal Ideas - Proposing While on Vacation

When She Does Not Know About the Trip

Pick a destination that is not too far away, relatively easy to get too. You do not want to travel long for an impromptu getaway - your girlfriend may not like that too much. You may even think about plannig a one night luxury hotel in a different city, or little romatic town will suffice. If she is a nature lover, a ski resort might be the perfect place, or a little town out of the city. If she is a romantic, you can take her to luxury hotel in a city, or for a quick getaway in London or Paris.

Before your intended day of departure, make sure that her schedule is clear. Ask her best friend, or colleague about any upcoming engagements that require her presence. But do not spread the word to more than one or two persons, becauase the more people who knows, the more likely your girlfriend will hear of it.

You may want to pack her bags for her. This may prove the hardest part because no matter how well you know your girlfriend, there will be items that she would, or particular clothes that she would like to being along, which you are not aware of. You can give her an advanced notice - be it half an hour before the trip, or an a few hours. but if you really want to pack for her, then get help from her best girlfriend or her mother!

When She Knows About the Trip

Do all necessary preparations before you depart for the trip. Do not wait until you arrive at your destination to plan the specifics of your wedding proposal. Make sure you do advance research to find the perfect place to make the wedding proposal. You can try calling the hotel's concierge to help you make dinner reservations at the most romantic restaurant at the destination, choose the best stretch of sand for a seaside-at-sunset wedding proposal, and order her favorite flowers for your room. At some of the high-end hotel resorts, there are actually romance coordinators who will help you come up with with the perfect wedding proposal.

Pack the ring, you may think this is trivial, but not doing so propoerly can end up ruining your surprise. For instance, if you will be boarding a plane, pack the ring in your carry-onluggage, and do not carry it in your pockets. This will prevent the airport security people from detecting the ring as you walk through the security. You do not want to havwe to remove the ring from your pocket in view of your girlfriend! Your carry-on should be loosely filled with nonsuspicious items. Think sweaters and a paperback book; not toiletries, pocket knives, or electronics that might trigger the screeners. And don't put the ring in a ring box -- if you do get called for a closer check and the security guard starts tossing your stuff, you're better off having the ring in a nondescript medium-sized box.

Now that you are on your way to your detination, you just have to let the suspense build. Anticipation is the key. Your girlfriend may be hoping that something is up - she may hope for a ring, but doesn't know for sure. You do not want to blurt it out while driving or flying to your destination. But you can be extra attentive to her without revealing the plan. Try not to propose on the night you arrive to your destination - let her anticipate the proposal, but also do not wait until the last day of trip to do it. She'll start to wonder if there is a proposal coming and might get upset waiting too long for it to come!

Wedding Planning Book Binder

So you have just gotten engaged. You are all excited, and happy, and busy showing everyone and anybody your very special engagement ring. That's all great, enjoy this precious moment while you can.

The real work is about to begin. Planning a wedding can take several months for particular brides-to-be who want a spectacular wedding they'll remember for years to come. It can be a stressful time as well, dealing not only with your work responsibilties, family, but also with hundred and one wedding related issues that need your attention.

One of the important ways to avoid being overwhelmed by the wedding planning is to stay organized. This is why I always recommend brides-to-be to invest in a good wedding planning book binder. This is will help keep everything in one place - to-do lists, contact information of caterers, cake-makes, florists etc, and it can also serve as a scrapbook of ideas for bridal gown design, flowers, themes and centerpieces.

After the wedding, the binder becomes a keepsake of many memories. You'll not regret getting a wedding planning book binder.

Wedding Beauty Tips | How to Keep Your Skin Beautiful on a Destination Wedding Trip

Destination Weddings and Travel Beauty Tips for Brides

If you are planning a lovely destination wedding in a perfect resort island, or an exotic location in a never-been-there before country, chances are you will get there by an airplane.

Most brides have their hands full as it is with planning for their weddings on home ground, so a bride can only imagine what stress she'd undergo with a destination wedding on the cards.

This article focuses on how to take care of your facial skin while traveling to your destination wedding so that you look as radiant as you should on your wedding day. As we all know, air travel can make us look like zombies when we finally disembark from a plane. This is because many people are not able to rest well on flights. Coupled with bad preparation, lack of knowledge on skin care essentials, this could be a recipe for disaster for a bride's dream wedding. If you don't want to end up looking like a zombie bride on your destination wedding, read on!

1) Moisturise, Stay Hydrated While on Plane

Airplanes are notoriously famous for dehyrating the skin. Remove your makeup once you are on the plane, and apply moisturiser and lip balm. Avoid caffienated drinks, instead drink lots of water and juice to stay hydrated. This helps prevents chapped lips.

Besides cream-based moisturisers, it may be a good idea to pack additional hydrating beauty products, such as facial masks, spritzes and body and hand creams.

And don't worry if you are afraid of bringing on board heavy luggage. If you require more creams and lotions than can be held by the pithy 100ml containers allowed under the current air travel liquid, aerosal and gel (LAG) regulations, may want to pick up their beauty supplies at the airport. Purchases made inside the terminal are packed in security tamper-evident bags that allows them to be taken onboard.

Also, you may be able to purchase brands and items which are exclusive to travellers at the duty-free outlets, where prices can be up to 40 percent cheaper than they are elsewhere!

2) Pack Sunscreen

Always use a sunscreen with an SPF of 50 in climates where the sun is harsh. This is absolutely important if you are planning a destination wedding at a beach resort. Imagine chilling out the day under the sun before your wedding without adequate sunscreen protection in a hot and humid climate. The possible disaster scenarios could have the skin underneath your eyes burnt to a crisp, and red and inflammed skin elsewhere.

Cooler and dry climates can also affect the skin leading to dryness and itchy rashes. Always moisturise after a long day outdoors.

3) Lighten up your makeup in sunny and warm climates

In climates with high humidty and heat, it is advisable to lighten up your makeup so as to prevent break-outs. Be sure to maintain a careful cleansing routine while avoiding heavier skincare and make-up. Switch to a lightweight moisturiser, and use waterproof mascara or a light liquid blusher for a touch of color on those days just before the wedding.

The above tips will help keep your face radiant, clean and clear, and ready for the big wedding day.
